Kicker

Yesterday,
was a crazy day at work.

we were quite busy,
but I somehow seemed to get a few minutes every now and then to sit down and take a breather
(which is good thing, because if I don't, Braxton Hicks starts coming on and it makes my back HURTT)

At about 5 o'clock,
Tyson called me.

He had just gotten off work and was on his way to my work to wait for me to get off at 7
(we carpool. It saves on gas. There is no reason to drive two cars when he passes mine while driving to his :))

I got his message telling me that when I was sitting down taking a break
and then his text telling me he was there at about 5:45 or so.

All day,
I was thinking that Kali was sure sleeping a lot.
I had only felt her move once.

When I finished my 6 o'clock rounding,
I went out to see Tyson.
I said hi to him and sat down next to him while he started telling me a story.

Immediately
Kali started kicking like crazy.
It was like she knew he was there and was saying hi to him.
It was the cutest thing ever.
When I was sure that she was going to keep doing it,
I put his hand on my stomach and
He felt her move.

After that she stopped.
haha I loved it.

I love that she has a Daddy to say hi to.
This experience is just so much different than the last.
I mean, obviously Avery could hear her parents and would kick for them,
but this time I'M her mom, and she knows it.
It's just so incredible to experience this.

I love my little family!

HOUSE DRAMA

Saying that buying a house is stressful,
is an EXTREME understatement!

I knew that it included a lot of waiting,
{especially when dealing with a short sale}

But seriously.
We made an offer on December 2nd.
The bank responded ULTRA fast and we found out that they accepted on January 2nd.
WOAH!! awesome bank. awesome :)

...at least it would have been.

Now comes the difficult part.
As we all know,
Tyson changed his name and SS#
(pretty much his identity)
when he was adopted because so many people had his old SS #
...because it was stolen.

So,
because of this,
he has 0 credit.

We were going to just go off of my credit,
but it has to be perfect.
I have pretty dang good credit,
I've been pretty proud of it...
but because of an issue with the dang hospital...
[I won't go in to detail with that]
I have a mark on my credit from when Avery was born.

However,
because my dad is incredible at his job,
(he's our mortgage broker)
He found a lender that said he could do it with Tyson's credit.

SO,
we started going through that process.

Unfortunately,
a couple of days ago,
my dad came down with some not so great news.

Because Tyson doesn't have any credit,
He cannot be approved unless he has proof that he has been working at his current job for 6 months.

Well,
his job is very new...
and he's only been there for two.
{SIGHHHH}.

We were told today though that our Real Estate Agent is trying to get the bank to agree to wait until May 16th (which is when Tyson will have been with his job for 6 months).
That's 4 months away.

That's a HUUGEE stretch.
(and not likely...:( )

BUT,
we have a back-up plan in case it doesn't work.
It's so stressful doing this.
I feel like we'll finally be able to get our lives together,
and that Kali would be good to come,
once we get into our house.

But May 16th is REALLY pushing it.
she's due less than a month after that.
:S
If worse comes to worse,
at least we know we'll always have a place to stay.

Thanks Mom and Dad < 3 :)

The Keeper of the Stars

This is the song that Tyson and I danced to at our wedding.
It's our song.

The Keeper of the Stars is the reason for everything.
The reason we found each other
and
The reason we are having a baby.

This blog is showing what the Lord has given us.
It helps me remember that all of this couldn't have been done without Him.

This blog is proof that we are blessed.

Starting over.

While trying to decide whether or not I'm going to make this blog private,
I'm just gonna start making posts!!

I might as well :)

I felt Kali kick today.
with my hand I mean.
I've been feeling her move around and kick in my belly,
but today was the first time she actually kicked my hand. hard.
I was so excited!

Unfortunately,
Tyson was upstairs.
and didn't bring his phone,
so he didn't feel it!

I seriously cannot wait to meet little Kalista.
That's all for now.

I updated 20 weeks on the last blog.
SOOO..
we'll just go from there.
