Happy Thanksgiving!

They're going to be great friends!

Thanksgiving this year was so fun,

but SO busy!!

We woke up at 8:00 am.

and if you know us at all,
when Tyson has a day off...

we sleep until like...10:30.

I know.

don't judge.

haha

Anyway,

We went to Walmart because Tyson wanted to find out what time everyone could start lining up for PS3's. He wants one so bad. ha He keeps saying it's because of the blue ray, but we both know he is a gaming nerd.

So,

they said 5:00 pm.

Then we stopped at my parents house so I could shower my Oma,

then left from there right to Tyson's grandmas house for THANKSGIVING!

It was delish, but we couldn't stay there for as long as we wanted to.

(let me just say that I knew Tyson was the one I was supposed to marry when, at family get togethers, they play board games. Yes. I'm obsessed! haha)

We had to leave at 2:30,

because my Aunt was having thanksgiving at her house as well.

We decided after this that we are going to switch families every year.

We're not doing both families every year anymore because we don't really actually get to spend time with either of them because we're in a rush to go to the next place.

Ridiculous.

Anyway,

we were there for about the same amount of time we were at his grandmas,

because at 4:15,

we had to leave because Tyson wanted to go stand in line at walmart.

of course my brother wanted to come with us, because he's just as big of a nerd as my husband.

They were so worried that we wouldn't get a PS3 because there were only 50...

we got there at 4:58 (which stressed him the heck out...)

and when we got in line...

It was apparant, we weren't late.

We were the first in line.

People didn't start showing up until around 7.

I gotta say.

Sitting in line for 5 hours was just...lovely.

hahaha

I found some books throughout the store to read to Kali,

so she would stay entertained.

She's a book worm like her mama.

After a few hours,

Kali had enough and my mom ended up taking her for the rest of the time.

Long story short,

Tyson got his  PS3 and according to him,

his life is now complete.

He said "my wife, daughter and a PS3 is all I need"

I'll remember that next year ;)

I'm grateful for my life, family and everything.

seriously.

We couldn't be more blessed.

My life should be a sitcom.

Sometimes,

like at least once a week,

I seriosly consider calling TBS or something to see if they want to make more money.

Why you ask?

Because they would make BANK

by recording my everyday life.

haha seriously.

if it's not one thing, it's another these days.

I can't say I absolutely hate it...it does make my life quite entertaining.

I can guarantee you that the world would greatly enjoy watching my stupidity, drama and mishaps in my everyday life.

Like tonight for example.

Tyson and I were trying to think of a fun inexpensive date night.

We (as in I) came up with the brilliant idea to ride trax and frontrunner

from daybreak (which is about 5 minutes from our house),

to Farmington were my Oma is.

I needed to take care of her and I thought it would be fun and enjoyable if we just included it into our date.

haha. My Oma LOVES Tyson anyway.

So around 6:00 I started looking for a babysitter.

(yeah I'm prepared right? Already six?)

 I would have planned this earlier except I've had strep throat all week and was just getting over it today.

 I didn't even start feeling better until about 5:30.

Mistake #1:

I just expected my little sister to be able to babysit.

She's been able to every time so I figured it would be easy to get her.

WELL,
I called her and she said she wasn't feeling very well.

SO,

I had to find someone else.

My parents date night is friday too so they couldn't watch her.

Then,

remembering that Keltsons mom had been offering to babysit since before Kali was even born,

I gave her a call.

She willingly and generously said yes and agreed to start at 7:00.

We were late getting there and probably didn't leave until about 7:30.

Mistake #2:

we decided we would grab some quick dinner before boarding the train.

we grabbed subway..and ate it AT SUBWAY.

Mistake #3:

We didn't plan which trains we would catch at which times.

we just hopped on the first ones there.

Which resulted in my uncle having to pick us up at the frontrunner train so that we could get there before my Oma went to bed.

Mistake #4:

expecting to be to frontrunner at the minute we wanted...we weren't...and we missed the train we needed to get on in order to make it home.

SOO.

We caught the last frontrunner train at 10:45 to Salt Lake.

We caught the VERY last trax train heading south.

It stopped at Murray.

The train we needed to be on was the one just in front of the one we were on.

SO,

we got off and were stranded.

35 minutes away from my parents house,

our car,

and Kali.

We told Amara (keltsons mom) that we wouldn't be any later than 10:30...

it was now midnight.

So,

with no other option,

we had to wake my dad up,

he had to DRIVE out to Murray and pick us up and take us to our car.

Tyson and I decided to meet him at the olive garden so he wouldn't have to drive AS FAR.

So...

we're sitting in front of Olive Garden,

listening the italian music,

on the bench,

in the dark,

it's chili...and we are in summer clothes.

It was lovely.

we sat there not speaking for about 5 minutes because both of us were stressing out.

and when I stress out...I shouldn't speak.

haha.

Eventually we lightened a bit and started joking around to lighten our stress...

we talked about the wierdest things I just realized...

Anyway.

My dad (our hero of the evening)

drove us back to our car and by 12:45 we finally picked Kali up.

So let's see.

We owe Amara like our lives for dealing with our major lie of being home by 10:30. We were two hours and 15 minutes LATE,

We owe my Dad my life for dealing with me. Yeah dad, you thought you got rid of my midnight calls after I got married didn't you? THINK AGAIN! haha

and We owe my uncle for picking us up in Salt Lake

What we thought was going to be an inexpensive date,

just got a whole lot more expensive!

Note to self:

do NOT rely on a train to get you where you need to go when you haven't planned out the route.

first of all,

 I guess that when I was pregnant,

I craved chewing on a sponge ALL OF THE TIME!

It was the wierdest thing ever...

and I did finally end up doing it.

once.

towards the end of my pregnancy.

Quite honestly,

there's not anything I want to say to any of my ex's except this:

I'm SOOO much happier without you in my life!

I don't really care about any of them.

My life is exactly how I wanted it to be and they are all OLD NEWS!

My husband

 (who by the way is WAYY sexier than any of those others)

is my world now.

4. what you wear to bed.

I gotta say,

I HATE taking pictures of myself.

I feel as awkward as anyone could ever possibly feel.

haha.

But if I'm not sleeping in my underwear (;))

Then I'm usually sleeping in something of this nature.

The only time I don't sleep in my underwear is if I'm already wearing this and I'm too lazy to take it off.

Like today.

Sundays, I wear this kind of stuff.

so I'm going to bed in it!

yeah.

now let's all feel awkward that I just told that world that I sleep in my underwear...haha

Harry Potter Freaks.

 

Today is my older sister BreeAnns Birthday.

Unfortunately,

her and my Brother-in-Law moved to Texas a couple weeks ago.

It's been quite sad.

But because of this,

we celebrated her Birthday with her before they left.

My mom asked her what she wanted to do

well,

let's just say my sister is a freak when it comes to Harry Potter.

I'm not kidding.

So,

She told my mom that she wanted to go see Harry Potter with all of us.

and then my mom decided she would make it a party and made a Harry Potter meal as well!

The night before,

we received a text from BreeAnn saying that she was expecting us to dress for the occasion.

lovely.

We don't really have the harry potter wardrobe stuff so I Just did that best I could with what we have.

I put this picture in another post,

but this is what I put Kali in:

Then we bought Tyson some round Harry Potter glasses,

and I just had my hair in pigtails and was going to take them out when we went to the movie, so that it would be curly like Hermoine.

My sister had something else in mind.

When we got to their house, we turned the corner,

and they were all sitting at the table in crazy people costumes!

We sat down to the following for dinner,

Ribs,

mashed potatoes,

Vegetables,

BUTTER BEER

(I don't know why, but this was the only thing I took a picture of)

Black Licorice with the tip dipped in white chocolate

(for our wands)

Homemade chocolate covered frogs

and worms

and Finally,

if any of you are Harry Potter fans,

you'll remember the cake the Hagrid made Harry in I believe it was the first book.

Well,

that was my sisters Cake.

They just Wrote Harry, then put an X through it and wrote BreeAnn underneath it.

It was a pretty cool party if I do say so myself.

Then my sister brought out a purple wig

(so that I could be Tonks)

and brought Tyson out a Tie

(so he could have more of the harry potter look)

and I was given a cape...which was the closest thing to a robe they could find.

Then,

after taking my eyeliner and making a lightning mark on Tyson and my brothers foreheads

(they were both Harry),

I decided to draw one on Kali's as well!

Although I thought this was all pretty cool and creative,

BreeAnn said we all had to go see the MOVIE like this.

This was 4 days after the midnight showing.

So we had to go to the movie theater,

4 days late,

all dressed up as freaks!

To make matters worse,

no one waited for Tyson and me when we were getting our drinks.

So we were just standing there as a family and then...I SPILLED my drink all over the place!

I ended up taking that wig off and trying to disappear

(where was my invisiblity cloak?)

Anyway,

it was cool.

We went back for the cake afterwards and we decided to put Tysons glasses on Kali...

Pretty sure she played the part!

I am so blessed

Well,

Tomorrow I will be 36 weeks.

Just one more week until I can start TRYING to get her to come.

It's been kinda rough the past few days.

This stage of the pregnancy is the EXTREMELY uncomfortable stage.

Now let me tell you,

I would prefer this over the nausea and vomitting ANY DAY!

I think this trimester is the best so far.

However,

that does not mean that I don't get EXTREMELY irritable at times.

I seriously feel like ripping my hair out someimes because

a- I can't sleep

and

b- It doesn't matter which way I'm sitting/standing/laying, I am ALWAYS uncomfortable.

I'm one of those people that need comfort.

Like, I would prefer to NOT wear heels and be comfortable, then to wear heels and get blisters and have uncomfortable feet.

But when it all comes down to it,

the emotion I've been feeling the most lately is pure EXCITEMENT.

Because of this, my impatient personality is getting the best of me!!

Let me just kinda give you a run down some moments I've had this past week.

I worked a regular 12 hour shift on Friday

(btw, thanks to HR, my boss has [mostly] backed off)

because Tyson doesn't have school on Fridays,

he gets home before me.

When I got home,

The house was clean and when I went into our bedroom I found this on the bed:

I love suprises like this.

My husband works all day and then comes home, cleans the house and gives me THIS!

We went on a date that night with Stefanie and her husband

and then I couldn't WAIT to go to bed because I was so anxious for the next day.

I was having my first baby shower! :):)

When I woke up,

Tyson was already out of bed.

I could smell breakfast cooking and envied my siblings upstairs.

They were getting some yummy breakfast by the smells of it!

I wasn't sure where Tyson was, but I just got out of bed and started getting ready for the baby shower.

When I was about done with my hair,

the bathroom door opens, Tyson is holding a spatula and says

"Breakfast is about ready"

He made me breakfast! That's what I was smelling!

I quickly finished my hair and went into the kitchen.

He had made the most DELICIOUS breakfast I've had in a long time...and he cleaned it up too!

I love my husband.

He's so good to me and treats me so dang well!

My baby shower went so great!

Thanks to my incredible visiting teachers,

it turned out so cute!

The decorations were so cute and creative.

The refreshement table was my favorite:

We got so many gifts there!

It was so fun.

I was texting Tyson through the whole thing,

telling him the gifts we were getting and sending him pictures of the ones he wanted to see.

After I sent him one of the last pictures

(which was a picture of a swimsuit for Kali),

He said this

"That is WAY CUTE! All of is stuff is making me excited. I can't wait Andee :) I'm feeling really funny inside.."

haha I laughed forever after reading that last part.

I LOVE how excited he is.

I then showed my mom the text and she took the liberty of reading it out loud to everyone

(SHH don't tell Tyson...he doesn't know I've been sharing it with people. haha)

Anyway,

the rest of that day pretty much involved us organizing Kali's stuff.

It's getting quite crowded in this room!!

On Sunday,

I had to work :(

I only had to work 8 hours this time though and was off at 3pm.

Tyson and I decided to go visit my Oma that day and drove out to Farmington.

I had been having contractions all day,

but they weren't really consistent or close together.

However,

while we were visiting with my Aunt,

They got really bad.

To the point where I wanted to cry.

We ended up leaving and going to the hospital on the way home.

I was trying to decide whether or not we should.

I kept going back and forth on my decision, but decided that I'd rather be safe than sorry!

We got there, they admit me to a room and sure enough, for the second time, I was contracting.

(I don't remember if I posted about this, but I was in the hospital at the beginning of April too...the day after my Opa died. I was contracting then as well.)

They wanted to give me the shot they gave me at the beginning of April..But I kinda refused.

I HATED the way that shot made me feel last time and I really didn't want to get it again.

They said that was fine and they understood and they would give me a morphine and phenegren shot instead.

I said okay...but at the same time was disappointed that they had to stop it.

like I said, my impatient personality is getting the best of me!!

After that, the contractions got worse for about a half hour,

and then after that they completely left and I fell asleep....

That morphine totally wiped me out.

I was completely out of it after that, but the contractions were gone and they sent me home.

We got home around midnight..and I had to wake up at 5:30 for work.

I cannot tell you how miserable of a day of work was!

I have NEVER been so tired during work in my LIFE.

I really don't know how I made it through.

A lady I work with that I love,

threw me a baby shower yesterday as well.

We got some more gifts and I hope she knew how grateful I was!!

When I got home,

(which I'm not sure how i was able to drive home without falling asleep)

I went to bed.

I got home around nine and I slept until 8:30 this morning.

I can't believe how long I slept!

I've hardly seen Tyson though.

He had school yesterday until 10 pm and had to wake up this morning at 3 am!!

He's such a busy hard workin man!

Good thing I don't work today and I get to see him tonight when he gets off work..cause he only has school twice a week!

April Fool!!

My familys favorite holiday is April Fools Day.

You might as well call my mom the Devil when it comes to April fools.

This year,

you could say that I am definitely her daughter.

I played my first joke on Tyson...and it went pretty well.

But not as far as I had hoped because I'm a pretty bad liar!

So as ya'll know,

we're trying to buy a house.

Because I'm moving to part time,

we'll still qualify, but we have to be more careful with the price.

Which is probably why we haven't had any luck yet.

Tyson is also SOOO cheap.

haha we've been going the last 6 months without a rent payment...

so he wants our payment to be really low...because we're not really used to one.

We've found a couple of houses that would work,

but we would definitely have to put some work into them and Tyson would prefer to not have to do so much.

Anyway,

yesterday I called him while we were both at work and I began my prank :)

I called and hung up three times so that he would think that I 'tried' to call him.

when he called me back,

I told him that our Realtor called me and said that she found a really cute HUD home that was a little over our price range and needed a little bit of fixing up but that it seemed perfect for us.

I told him that she said the bidding would end at noon and that she needed to know if we wanted to bid on it.

I then told him that I couldn't get ahold of him, so I just told her to do it..without seeing the house first!

He really handled it well over the phone.

You could tell he was SOO MAD, but he stayed calm.

He told me that he thinks that was a foolish thing to do and then kept making excuses to get off the phone when I would call him.

In the mean time,

I talked to our realtor and asked her to find a really cheap, really crappy, dumpy beat up house that was by my work that I could show him. She was totally down with helping with this and agreed to let me call her when I got off work so I could get the address when I was with him.

Tyson agreed to meet me at work when I got off so that we could go see it.

I called her when we were in the car and she did PERFECT.

She went on about how perfect she thought the house was for us and then told us the price that we made up...which was 45000 over our budget...and this was the first time he heard the price.

at this point,

we were already almost to the house,

so we decided to go look at "our house"

I asked him after he figured it out,

if he was mad.

he wasn't.

he said he was just super super relieved.

haha I love him.

I felt so guilty the whole time.

so I was so glad that he forgave me!

Good thing...cause this isn't the last time he's going to be April Fooled!
