But it does go away as they get older because they can talk and you can get a sense of how they feel. When you know they're ok with being away from you it's a lot easier. Plus ages 2-4 (maybe longer? I only have a 4 year old) can be really frustrating so sometimes it feels nice to get away from them, but only for short amounts of time.

I hear ya about the school thing. That's why we're homeschooling. Not to shelter them, but to not subject them to stupid crap like that without a choice. If they decide to go to school later then we'll let them, but not while their minds are so sensitive and can be influenced by a negative comment for the rest of their lives. Not to mention the fact that I don't want Nate to be "diagnosed" by a teacher with something stupid like ADD. So we're already starting to get involved in the homeschooling community. My best friend is doing it too. It's going to be tough while both of us work full time, but the good thing about home school is that it happens 24-7 and at least one of us will be home with them hopefully (working opposite schedules). Anyway I know I'm "weird" I just want the best for my kids too :DKrista Egerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02129448044986749175noreply@blogger.com
