The guy I talked to in HR told me that if they are hiring, I just have to apply and I can transfer...it doesn't matter if I'm pregnant or not! I work from 7am to 7pm tomorrow and we don't have internet access, but I can go check my email in the hospital library on my lunch break...my appointment with them is at one! That would be awesome. That really is ridiculous...that would make me livid! I deal with crap once in a while at work (not nearly bad as this) and I can't stand being at work sometimes. But mine is more that I can't stand being around some of the people. Haha!<br /><br />There is always a loophole for you to do something about this and hopefully it work in your favor. I don't know what time your meeting is at but I talk to my HR person quite often, I can ask her about this in the morning around 8:30ish what she thinks in the situation and what you should do. The charge nurse should not have said what she did and it could be considered harrassment. So if you don't plan on staying there much longer, you could just file a complaint with HR too that you feel they are treating you unfairly with everything since you became pregnant (if they were treating you better before you announced your pregnancy). The sup and charge nurse will still be crabby towards you even if you didn't file a report so what's the difference? I hope it all works out for you. If...Have you talked to your HR person at your work? If not you really should call and make a time to meet with her/him and let her/him know what all has gone on. When you go I would take a copy of the email that you sent the schedule person. At my work we get 3 days off, 2 days is just not enough. (3 isn't either but it is better than 2) I really urge you to say something to your HR person, that is just not right how you are being treated. And with them continuing to call you while at your Opa's funeral. That is just...no words to put how wrong that is. When you meet with your HR person I would take a copy of the Obit that was in the paper or something like that, so it would show that you weren't lying about that he died and when the funeral was. That is SO crazy,so wrong and SO heartless on their part. Guess now would be a time to start looking to see if there is another hospital or something that you might be able to work at after the baby is born. I am so sorry for the way you have been treated by them.
