17. most recent picture of you and your significant other and what you love most about them :) and any other thoughts.

I know this picture is already on this blog,
but it's the most recent of us!

What I love MOST about him?

There is definitely more than one thing.
As I sit and type this,
it is 1:20 in the morning.
He has to be up in an hour and a half for work.
He's been working this schedule since about a week before Kali was born.
and not tomorrow [hallelujiah],
but on mondays and wednesdays,
he has school from 6-10.
He usually doesn't get off work until about 5
(TONS of overtime for him lately!)
I love that he is such a hard worker.
I haven't heard him complain about this schedule ONCE.
I'm sitting here,
unable to sleep
(while my baby is SOUND asleep in my lap. yeah. thank you mind for not letting me sleep while my baby is!)

and my husband is asleep in our bed.
sometimes I just like to cuddle with him while he's sleeping.
I just feel this overwhelming feeling of love for him all of the time lately.

He is SUCH an incredible husband and father.
I couldn't ask for anything better.
he is definitely my other half.

I know we're married now and everything,
but I still just feel so guilty for what I put him through before his mission
and even for a while after his mission.
I was a dang brat!
I love how hot he is :)

I'm sick right now.
I have a dumb chest cold.
I woke up today with hardly a voice and I've had a cough all week.
about 20 minutes after Tyson got home from work,
I all of he sudden got this TERRIBLE headache.
I'm not kidding. I couldn't even open my eyes.
I couldn't even work up enough energy to cry.
He waited on me like it was his only job.
He got me a bottle of water and some ibuprofen and told me to take a nap.
I laid down and when he saw that I was all situated,
he told me he was going to run to the grocery store
(because I haven't been grocery shopping since before Kali was born.
I'm serious, I'm such a slacker. I really need to get the ball rolling again, but I rationalize SOO much cause all I want to do is cuddle this baby!)

He said that he needed shampoo
(yeah he's been out for about a week and a half and hasn't said anything because he's felt guilty. MAN I suck at being a wife right now.)
and he asked if we needed anything else.

I told him we needed a few other things and asked if he could get stuff for himself for lunch.
(I usually pack a lunch for him when he goes to work...but haven't been doing that either so he's been eating out pretty much everyday...which we shoudn't be doing cause we are supposed to be saving up as much as we can. He hasn't had a choice though since I haven't been grocery shopping!)

I then asked him if he could fill up my water mug before he left since he was going to be going upstairs, and my parents have THE BEST ice in their fridge. ha I know. I'm crappy.

He said yes and then got ready to go.

Then he left and as he was pulling out of the neighborhood,
he realized he forgot to fill up my mug so he TURNED AROUND and came home just to do it.

Seriously.
I love him so much.

When I woke up from my nap he had done a good amount of grocery shopping too.
So now we have food again.

I love how, even when he's working his BUTT off all day,
he comes home from work and still helps me.

I feel so pathetic when he does that.
like I did today.
But I wasn't feeling well.
I hope my cold leaves soon.

I love how my husband is constantly thinking of other people.
He rarely is thinking about himself.
It's always what my brothers need,
or what his brother needs.

When he came home from work today,
I had been sitting out in my car waiting for him cause I had just gotten home from the Dr.

I was just sitting there okay?
He gets home and sees my parents garbage sitting outside,
so he rolls it in to the back and then makes sure that everything looks good.

I had just been SITTING THERE.
I could have done it..but I didn't think about it because I am not as selfless as my husband.
I love how,
even though he's been working his butt off all day,
he comes home with a smile on his face and in the best mood.
That definitely wouldn't be me if I was working like him!

I love how he is with Kalista.
He is an INCREDIBLE father already and is SOO paranoid about her and every little noise she makes.

Whenever he comes home from work and holds her while she's awake,
she'll just stare at him while he talks to her.

She would do it for hours if she could.
She LOVES her daddy.
I just love my husband.
I feel like I'm just rambling so I'm going to stop here...
but I want you to know that i'm just getting started here.
I could go on forever about the things that I love about him.

But I'm typing and even though Tyson is a pretty heavy sleeper,
I'm worried my typing is going to eventually wake him up so I am going to stop now.

I'm SOOO Blessed.

16. kids: do you have any yet? if not, when do you plan on it? how many do you want? any tips on good/bad birth control?
Yes we do :)
as of two weeks ago, we have one!

Before we got married,
Tyson said he wanted 6 kids.
I said 4.

Now...Tyson is saying 2.
haha my pregnancy was hard on him.

I still say 4 at the MOST.

ha Birth control tips??
well,
THIS is why I got pregnant.

So,
I'm anti-nuvaring because of my experience...
even though I'm kinda loving the outcome :)
I should just probably not use it again for a while! ha

I say IUD is good.
we'll see though.
That's what I'll be getting at my 6 week check up.
we'll see if that works for me!

15. first place that you lived together: pics if you have them!

The first place we lived was the HORRID Farmgate/Timbergate apartments.
Tyson worked there when we first got married so they told us we would get a 'discount' if we lived there.

Yeah.
BIGGEST mistake of our lives.

I HIGHLY do not recommend them for ANYONE to live in.
the management and staff there are THE most dishonest people I've ever met.
They told us we would would be paying a certain amount when we moved in...
then told us we could finally move in at the beginning of August, but that they wouldn't make us pay rent until September.

when we got to the apartment was to move in, it was discusting and dirty.
It had not even been cleaned since the last tenant.

SO,
we cleaned it,
and moved in.

When we got home from our honeymoon,
they moved the price up $80 and told us that they never said we would only have to pay the other amount.

We hadn't signed the lease yet,
which I regretted immediately.
I didn't think they would be so dishonest since my HUSBAND was working for them.

So we immediately signed the lease for this $80 more so they couldn't move the price up again.

a couple of weeks later,
they told us that we still owed them for August.

We explained that they said we didn't have to pay,
and they denied it.

So we had to come up with the month of August's rent.
When I finally went to confront them,
I was SOO angry.
I was really upset when I went to talk to the lady...
and when I left,
she went to Tysons manager and said that I was yelling at them about the way they treat Tyson...at his job!!

WHAT?!

Tyson decided he was quitting and found another job.
he put in his two weeks and LUCKILY, they said we had to be out in two weeks.

SO,
we moved out...and didn't clean the apartment.

We left it just as we found it.
another thing they didn't do, was give us one of those papers to fill out when we moved it,
saying everything that was wrong with the apartment.

fastforward almost 4 months.

We get a letter from them in the mail,
trying to charge us I think it was $300 saying that we left the apartment dirty and then tried to charge us for all of the things that had been wrong with it when we moved in.

Thanks to the AMAZING neighbors we have across the street.
Mark Taylor who is a lawyer,
helped us with this...for FREE.

He sent them a long letter explaining laws, and stuff.
ONE of which was they had to have the letter with all of the charges to us within 30 days after moving out.

and SECOND...
they had no proof that we did that since they never gave us a paper to fill out.

They backed off after a few days.
I was so grateful for Mark!

Anyway,
that was our first apartment.

and they aren't even worth a picture.

Just remember,
do not EVER live or let a loved one live in Farmgate/Timbergate apartments in Herriman!!
:)

14. thoughts on marriage: what is the easiest/hardest part? if you could change anything, what would it be?

I love being married.
It's definitely not the easiest thing I've ever done,
but it's been SO worth it.

With marriage,
you experience your highest, happiest times...
but you also experience you lowest saddest times.

The main reason I think you experience your lowest,
is because when you and your spouse get in a fight,
you can't really talk to anyone about it...and fighting with the person you're closest to SUCKS.
Bad.
I hate it when we fight. It's the worst feeling EVER when you're mad at each other.

The easiest part is probably...
the fact that we never have to 'go home' to different places when we're together.
we can do whatever we want and not have to worry about 'controlling ourselves' ;)

The fact that we can just sit and talk to eachother about everything.
and having someone that is always on my side.

The hardest...
would probably have to be the fact that it sometimes SUCKS being a grown up and going to work all of the time.

I hate it that he always has to leave for work, especially now that we have a baby.
I hate it that I don't get to see him as much.
The stress that comes with Marriage isn't very fun either.

But it's seriously a GOOD THING that I have such an incredible man.
because that right there makes it all SO MUCH easier.

I am so in love with the man I married and I swear that love gets stronger every day.

13. honeymoon: where did you go? was it good? ;) haha...jk.

For some reason, I can't find our pictures from the honeymoon!!
I'm kinda upset about it :(

But anyway,

We went to Park City for the first two nights,
(courtesy of my Aunt Maryjane)

and then Hawaii for the next 5 days
(courtsey of Tyson's parents)

We had so much fun!
Of course ;)

11. your song and/or the first song you danced to at your wedding: share a music video or lyrics if you can!

It was no accident me finding you
Someone had a hand in it
Long before we ever knew

Now I just can't believe you're in my life
Heaven's smilin' down on me
As I look at you tonight

I tip my hat to the keeper of the stars
He sure knew what he was doin'
When he joined these two hearts
I hold everything
When I hold you in my arms
I've got all I'll ever need
Thanks to the keeper of the stars

Soft moonlight on your face oh how you shine
It takes my breath away
Just to look into your eyes

I know I don't deserve a treasure like you
There really are no words
To show my gratitude

So I tip my hat to the keeper of the stars
He sure knew what he was doin'
When he joined these two hearts
I hold everything
When I hold you in my arms
I've got all I'll ever need
Thanks to the keeper of the stars

It was no accident me finding you
Someone had a hand in it
Long before we ever knew

Hence,
the reason this blog is named what it's named :)

8. the little accessories: you know, veil? shoes? jewelry? what did your bridesmaids wear?

I don't really have any pictures of any of my accessories...
The veil was the "something borrowed" though.
It was my sisters :)

My shoes were diamond flip flops.
I LOVED them and still look for any excuse I can to wear them.
The Jewelry.
I only wore earrings, because I felt like a necklace would take away from the dress.
I cn't remember where I got the earrings...but I also look for excuses to wear those too!

I DO have pictures of my bridesmaid dresses though :)

They all chose their dresses :)

WC #7

7. the dress: was it what you always imagined? did you have it made for you? white or ivory?

YES it is everything I imagined.
I loved it!

I didn't have it made for me.
In fact, I found it at a discount store for $200.

I actually was going to get another one...
and it was $1000...
but then when I found this one,
I quickly changed my mind.

It was cheaper and I LOVED it so much more!
and as you can see,
it was white,
not Ivory :)
here it is closer up.
